What is Electrostatic disinfection?
Electrostatic disinfecting works by giving an electromagnetic charge to a solution so that it sticks to a targeted surface, around 360-degree coverage. In most cases, surfaces and objects are neutral so when an electrostatic system transfers a negative charge to the chemical solution, the solution will stimulate and stick to a surface with a divergent polarity. Same as how the automotive industry has a uniform and accurate spread spray paint system onto cars for decades.
The electrically charged nature of electrostatic spray gives an effective disinfection of all types of surfaces and areas to give a complete and thorough sanitization. The chemical solution which comes out from the electrostatic fogger has a positive electrical charge. The drops of the chemical then become attracted and stick to all negative surfaces, cover all the visible targeted areas and items, undersurface and backside, with the sanitizing solution.
Electrostatic disinfection is an efficient way to remove germs and virus from places like schools, labs, health care facilities, residential and business premises.
HOW DOES ELECTROSTATIC DISINFECTION WORK?
Electrostatic disinfection is the procedure of spraying an electrostatically charged fog onto all surfaces, areas, and objects. An electrostatic disinfecting device uses a particular disinfectant mixture that is combined with air present in the atmosphere and atomized by an electrode present inside the sprayer. Eventually, the fogger which carries positively charged particles effectively sticks to surfaces and objects. As the particles of the fogger are positively charged, they attach to any place air can go.
When the object and surface are awkward in shape, or hard to reach, cleaning agents just have to aim at that area and spray. The nature of that fog process allows the solution to coat surfaces evenly throughout, and envelope the whole object, even if the fog is sprayed from one side. For this reason, the electrostatic fog is the best option for all surfaces and areas that have a chance of existing germs, viruses, or pathogen build-up.
The main advantages of using electrostatic disinfection:
• As compared to the traditional methods, electrostatic fogging covers and disinfect all hard-to-reach surfaces in 50% less time.
• Improve the system of infection control to develop and outspread viruses such as HIV, influenza, MRSA, and others.
• Restrict the over usage of chemicals applications in a more efficient and controlled manner.
• Avoids expenses associated with the causing of contagious health infections.
Under the presence of the right food, environment, and temperature, harmful bacteria can remain alive for several days, and potentially double after every 30 minutes. Traditional cleaning and disinfecting procedures do a limited job of managing micro bacteria on visible points. However, for the existence of more strengthened pathogens, there is need to use new methodologies to control cross-contamination.
Our desktops, carpets, walls and all type of surfaces and objects need to be absolutely germ free, electrostatic disinfection is the best solution. Electrostatic disinfecting provides an effective way to disinfect visible and invisible surface areas.
